taking back surveillance for activist archives

Streetwatch.live is a recently launched sub-project of NYC Mesh I also work with a dedicated team on a NYC Mesh subproject, streetwatch.live. Streetwatch.live is a camera archive project spun up in the wake of BLM movements that is dedicated to providing objective archival footage to activists scraped from the NYC DOT traffic cameras.

We are currently building out an interactive redesign, creative security practices, and computer vision practices. For this project I lead up the UX team, work on media outreach and social media management, facilitate research with activists and experts, and have been helping build out the front-end redesigns.
